Job Responsibilities at Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington, OH

As a technician at Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Worthington, you will be expected to fulfill the following duties:

• When you receive a repair order from the dispatcher, you will take the customer's vehicle to the stall area.
• You will then be required to perform the work outlined in the repair order. This may be straightforward maintenance, or it may involve diagnosing the cause of malfunctions. In any case, as you perform service, you must perform your work both efficiently and accurately. Furthermore, you will be required to work following factory and dealership standards, as well as following federal, state, and local regulations that govern automotive service.
• If the service you are performing requires certified parts or fluids, you will need to communicate with the Parts Department to secure these parts. If you are performing warranty work, or if the customer has requested it, you may need to tag and save old parts.
• If there are any changes to the requested service, you will need to let the service advisor know immediately. There could be many causes for this, including additional work being required, the requested service taking more time than expected, or the service not being necessary.
• You must perform quality checks on your work as you perform it, including potential road testing the vehicle.
• In addition, you will be required to keep up to date with factory technical bulletins and attend regular training classes.
