Every 7,500 Miles

The first and most common service occurrences for your Chevy Trailblazer are the same procedures that most vehicles, no matter their size or make, undergo at this point. The swapping out of the motor oil to ensure steady, strong performance is a perfect example. A tire rotation will also occur to help keep certain tires from wearing down quicker than the rest of the set. 

Otherwise, this common visit interval will see a few filters inspected or replaced depending on their condition and not a lot else.

Every 15,000 Miles

The same procedures that went into caring for your Trailblazer at 7,500 miles will be executed once again at 15,000 miles. The only additional service enacted at this point would be the replacement of the windshield wipers.

Every 22,500 Miles

The quality and general fit and finish of the Chevy Trailblazer means many of the listed mileage intervals will only see one or two unique services at a time. The 15,000-mile marker was an example of this, and so is the 22,500-mile marker. At this stage, the only new procedure your Chevy Trailblazer will undergo is an inspection of the evaporation control system.

Every 60,000 Miles

Cresting the 60,000-mile marker means your Trailblazer will want to pop into the shop for a replacement of the spark plugs. Our service center has the right replacement fit for these plugs so you can get back on the road quickly. Otherwise, we’ll also want to inspect the spark plug wires and boots to ensure they’re in proper condition.

Every 150,000 Miles

Hitting the 150,000-mile mark is an accomplishment for any vehicle. With the Chevrolet Trailblazer, you can certainly expect to double this mileage figure so long as you are keeping up with the services listed. There will be a list of unique services that take place at this point, too: 

• Change rear axle fluid for all-wheel drive versions
• Drain and fill the engine cooling system 
• Visually inspect accessory drive belts
