This engine not only delivers a commanding 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, but it also earns an EPA-estimated 23 city/33 highway MPG as well. This means one tank of fuel will take you up to 726 miles before needing to make a gas station stop.

The F-150 is also available with a more efficient diesel motor, but it falls short with an EPA-estimated 20 city/27 highway MPG. You’ll also notice a difference in performance with only 250 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque.

One of the biggest reasons you’re choosing a truck is because you need to haul hefty equipment or weekend campers. Either of these pickups has the power to get the job done, but you want to make sure you have a simplified towing experience as well.
