Chevy Colorado Trim Levels

Chevy Colorado WT

The WT trim is the first trim of the Chevy Colorado. You’ll get the standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine combined with the standard 6-speed automatic transmission with this trim. You’ll get a good amount of power from this engine, topping out at 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque.

Inside the WT trim, you’ll get a standard 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen powered by the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System. The infotainment system comes standard with several features, including AM/FM radio, Bluetooth® for audio streaming and hands-free phone calls, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ so you can use your favorite smartphone apps in your vehicle, and more.

Chevy Colorado LT

The next trim level up is the LT. The LT trim builds on the features established in the WT trim and adds a few new ones. The infotainment touchscreen grows to eight inches and includes standard voice recognition, so you can keep your hands on the wheel, but still ask your Colorado to call your family or friends.

The LT trim also adds the standard EZ-Lift and Lower tailgate. These systems raise and lower the tailgate and allow the tailgate to lock and unlock with your key. This will make your LT trim easier to use and load. You even can see the cargo bed at night with standard cab-mounted cargo area lamps, which are activated by a switch and will illuminate the entire cargo bed.

Chevy Colorado Z71

The Z71 trim builds on the previous two trims to make your experience with the Colorado even better. You’ll get a more powerful standard engine with the 3.6L V6 engine that puts out 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque.

So you can hit the off-roading trails, the Z71 trim has a standard Off-Road suspension package that includes hill descent control and an under body transfer case shield that helps protect the Colorado from various rocks and debris.

Chevy Colorado ZR2

The highest-level Chevy Colorado trim is the ZR2. To help you tow your camper or work equipment, the ZR2 trim has standard Tow/Haul Mode, which raises the transmission upshift point to give you more power to accelerate when towing heavy loads. When properly equipped, you’ll get a maximum of 7,700 pounds of towing capacity with the available Duramax® 2.8L Turbo-Diesel engine.

You’ll even get a standard Trailering Package that includes a 2-inch receiver hitch and a 4-way sealed connector for your trailer’s lights. You can also use the standard HD Rear Vision Camera to get an idea of what is behind you, even when hitching up your trailer.
